Friends Observing: JAG hosted the 2025 Perseid Meteor Shower observing session, with no fewer than 25 Friends joining him through the evening. The first hour of observing gave 17 meteors (13 Perseids and 4 sporadics), while the second hour provided 21 meteors (16 Perseids and 5 sporadics). The brightest two meteors recorded were magnitude -4 and the meteors showed their typical ‘clumpiness’, coming in little groups of two or three followed by a lull.
